Shipping & Delivery Policy

This policy explains how and when we deliver orders placed on author.bijalkhatiwala.com.

Where we deliver

We currently deliver within India only.

Dispatch time

Orders are dispatched within 2 business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays) of order confirmation. Signed copies may take up to 2 additional business days.

Delivery time

We ship through trusted courier partners. Delivery usually takes 3 to 7 business days after dispatch, depending on your PIN code. Remote areas may take longer.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges for your address are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Any free-shipping offer is also shown at checkout.

Tracking your order

When your order is dispatched, we send you a tracking link by email, and by SMS or WhatsApp where available.

Address and failed deliveries

Please check your address, PIN code and phone number at checkout. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was incorrect or incomplete, nobody was available to receive it, or it was refused, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Extra shipping charges may apply. Alternatively, we refund the price of the books; shipping charges are not refunded.

Delays

Couriers can sometimes be delayed by weather, strikes, holidays or other events outside our control. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, contact us and we will help track it.

Damaged in transit

If your parcel arrives damaged, please follow the steps in our Return & Refund Policy within 7 days of delivery.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month of receiving it, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
